Performing at the Shoreline Amphitheater on August 14th, 2010, the finalists demonstrated a newly-gained stage presence to an almost sold-out crowd. Season 9 winners Lee DeWyze and runner up Crystal Bowersox were joined by top 10 finalists Casey James, Michael Lynche, Aaron Kelly, Siobhan Magnus, Tim Urban, Katie Stevens, Andrew Garcia, and Didi Benami.
Finalists Appear on Stage in Order of American Idol TV Show Elimination
Screaming fans clutched signs for their favorites. As the show progressed, phone cameras flickered throughout the venue and audience members cheered when they saw their images projected onto the side overhead screens.
Didi Benami began the show with "Lay It on Me" (The Rescues), and picked up her guitar for "Terrified" (Katharine McPhee). She wore a long, white, sparkly sweater over leggings, high-heeled tan boots and loopy earrings.
